Ollar Home Organizing

Support for Downsizing & Decluttering

Our Philosophy

We work with people making end of life preparations, grieving the loss of a loved one, downsizing to a smaller home, or needing a big de-cluttering change. We honor that belongings are tethers. They hold us, tell the story of us. Objects can be practical parts of daily life, or heirlooms connecting us to our ancestors. They help us feel held and they weigh us down. In times of big transition letting go of things can be healing. We will support you in the process finding what objects are meaningful and practical, and which can be let go.

Our Approach

Our approach is personal, co-creating a space that feels lighter, and in alignment with your needs. It is a journey to look through, sort and donate your objects. We are gentle guides through the process, here to meet you wherever you’re at emotionally, listen to the stories, and do the heavy lifting. Our work together is to help you in creating space.

About The Founder

Jona Peters integrates her prior work as a clinical herbalist and her personal experience with grief to help support people in downsizing in the Twin Cities. She finds it deeply meaningful to help people navigate the material reality of their lives as they face groundlessness. This work is a continuation of her maternal lineage: Betty Jean Ollar.
